Weekend Snippets

What a glorious weekend!  We had such great weather and we were lucky enough to spend the majority of it outside...

Olivia had a great playdate, Max had flag football (which is so good!) and we got Smith a harness and tie-out for the backyard.  He has been desperate to join us while we are outside but because we are located on the corner of a couple of busy streets I haven't let him out before.  I wasn't sure how it would go (or if he'd even let me put the harness on) but he loves it!  After only 2 days, he sits nicely while I put on his harness and has stopped trying to bite my hand off when I undo it...Has any one else had experience with a cat on a leash?  Any tips or tricks to keeping them safe and happy?

Weekend Snippets

I know, I know, I'm a day late on this post but we had an extra long 4 day weekend and I took advantage of it!  It couldn't have been more perfect and I am now ready to take on the rest of the week (maybe even the month but don't tell anyone!).

What a drizzley, wet weekend we had here!!  We still managed to get outside and play in-between downpours and even went on a bit of a roadtrip.  Otherwise it was pretty quiet here.  Lots of movies and relaxing which was perfect and I even got to my sewing project!!
I hope, despite the rain you had a relaxing weekend and are ready to take on the week.  I'll be back later with the results of my very first sewing attempt...

Weekend Snippets

We had an absolutely gorgeous weekend here.  The sun was shining, the tempreature was sneaking in on Spring and there was a lot of fun had.  We celebrated with friends at a 50th birthday party, played outside, did some baking and tried out a few new recipes!  

 Smith was in fine form this weekend...we're not sure what has gotten into him but he has really been making us laugh!!  The only thing that I didn't get around to was my sewing project.  I did get my pattern pieces cut out though!!  That's progress, right?!
