Slate Flooring
I picked up this fantastic piece of slate floor tile over the weekend for a client and haven't been able to stop looking at it since! Slate is formed by tremendous pressure and heat deep within the earth's continental coastlines. It varies in colour from light to dark grey, purple, green or cyan and is naturally slip-resistant and non-staining. I am loving the idea of this in an open concept home, running throughout the foyer and main areas into the kitchen. Warm up the cool touch with underfloor heating and this is one flooring option that will not only be durable and elegant but one that will make a strong visual impact!
