Things that make me smile

In the spirit of Valentine's Day I thought I'd share a few blooms that make me smile.  I grew up in the country on a park-like setting (no joke!) and was lucky to be surrounded by the most beautiful gardens.  My parents are both avid gardeners who spend the better part of the year tending to their various plots; growing fruits and vegetables as well as a multitude of flowers and grasses.  My garden is still young and the blooms strive to be bigger and more vibrant each year and I strive to learn a bit more every year to give my kids the beauty that I had growing up.
